Cinematographer, director and photographer. Graduate of Photography at the European Photography Academy in Warsaw and Cinematography of the Łódź Film School. Her films were presented at such festivals as Cannes, Berlinale, Sundance, BFI London, and IDFA. She has worked with various types of video art, from music video clips and commercials to feature films, both in Polish as well as in international projects. Over the years she developed her own style of visual storytelling, particularly in documentary, focusing on intimate observation of the subject ‒ a prominent feature of her visual language. She co-created Kurkot Kollektiv whose debut film “Volte”, awarded at HOT DOCS 2017, nominated to the Silver Eye Award at EAST SILVER MARKET, and screened at over 50 festivals around the world, is currently part of the opDocs collection at the „New York Times” platform and was (the first Polish document to be) nominated for the American Cinema Eye Honors Award.Their feature documentary “The Herd”, supported by the Polish Film Institute and HBO, premiered at the 37th Warsaw Film Festival and was awarded the Audience Award, was also selected for the (contest )section of the Visions du Réel festival. She constantly searching for a fresh view and expanding her visual vocabulary with each subsequent project.
