The 20-something rock star has faded into suburbia with kids and a mortgage. One day, at 42, the wife has had enough and Jørgen finds himself living in a friend's basement. He is overwhelmed by the notion that there is something profoundly wrong with his head, fingers, guitar and amplifier. To avoid the big black hole, he wants to solve these major issues and starts with the most tangible; reaching out to an enigmatic hermit guitar repairman whom others warn him about. A strange journey of healing unfolds, into the sound, exploring the depths of each tone, and ultimately liberating the soul.
