The film is dedicated to an extremely important Wrocław figure, Marek Hłasko. Thanks to the documentary, together with the outstanding writer, we travel to Israel at the end of the 1950s. The new country and its inhabitants become an inspiration for the artist and, at the same time, a trap. Exhausted by physical labour in the scorching sun, followed by the security police and forbidden to return to his country, he learns to love the new place and society. We will talk about the Israeli period of Marek Hłasko's life after the screening.
