Tasting Bon Appetit!
During the screening of the film MENUS-PLAISIRS – LES TROISGROS, dir. Frederick Wiseman
Watching food documentaries on an empty stomach is a real ordeal! To prevent loud stomach growls in the audience during the screening of “Menu-Plaisirs – Les Troisgros”, we invite you to a tasting session. During the projection, we will take a small break to indulge in dishes inspired by the film. Frederick Wiseman's latest documentary tells the story of the legendary French Troisgros family, who started their business in the rural region of Ouches, 100 kilometres west of Lyon, in 1930. Today, they are the proud holders of three Michelin stars, having established a true dynasty. For decades, large numbers of people have been making the pilgrimage to their restaurant Le Bois sans Feuilles, located in a 19th-century building. The Troisgros are celebrated as pioneers of nouvelle cuisine. The film is not only a four-hour feast for the senses but also a look behind the scenes of the most exquisite dining. Bon appetit!
