Roman Ďuriš graduated in 2018 from Film and TV Directing, at the Film and Television Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, Slovakia (FTF VŠMU). His graduation movie Something is happening world premiered at the 41st Cairo International Film Festival (2019) in the Cinema of Tomorrow competition. With project Fakir he participated in the Ex Oriente Film workshop, IDFA project space, dok.incubator INT and won Best Pitch Award at Bratislava Industry Days during the Febio festival. He is currently preparing his second feature film Children of the moon country.
