Rogier Kappers (1963) has worked as a documentary director and producer in the national and international market for over thirty years. He has a great love for documentaries about music. He won a Golden Calf (the highest Dutch Film Prize) with his feature length documentary Lomax the Songhunter (2005, 90 minutes, NPO/PBS/ VTR / TV Catalunya). Among many other awards, this film was also nominated for an International Emmy Award. Next to his film career, Kappers started in 2016 a music career on his self-built glass organ. “Glass, My Unfulfilled Life” is about this big adventures, which is filmed from the first day onward for seven years.
