Film director, producer, exhibitor, Poland Born in Warsaw, a graduate of the National Film School in Lodz, lives in Mexico City. He started by making music videos for Polish and French rappers. His short films received several awards for their unique visual style. In 2010 together with Joaquín del Paso and Tushar Prakash he founded Amondo Films, a film collective and production company based in Warsaw, Mexico City, and New Delhi. He attended the Berlinale Talents. His feature film debut „Hel” premiered at Warsaw Film Festival in 2016, followed by a domestic release. The same year he founded Amondo Kino, a small boutique cinema in the heart of Warsaw, which has become a cultural hub for young cinephiles and filmmakers. Pawel co-produced „Maquinaria Panamericana” (Berlinale Forum 2016), “Hole in The Fence” (Venice Film Festival 2021, WFF 2021) directed by Joaquin Del Paso and „An Act Of Love” a feature documentary directed by Tushar Prakash (currently in post-production). He currently lives between Warsaw and Mexico City where he’s shooting a documentary feature and working on his next feature fiction film.
