Georg Gruber – boasts over 15 years of experience in the film and media industries. Throughout his career, he has cultivated expertise in various domains, including production, financing, sales, and distribution. Gruber is a graduate of the Vienna Business School and the Filmakademie Ludwigsburg, Germany. He is the founder of MAGNETFILM, a Berlin-based world sales company dedicated to maximizing audience engagement and exposure for an annual selection of 15 short films and 10 documentaries. MAGNETFILM manages licensing across all platforms, supporting both established and emerging filmmakers. The approach is hands-on, agile, creative and transparent – focused on nurturing long-term partnerships and working closely with filmmakers and producers to develop tailor-made marketing and distribution strategies for every title throughout the entire film lifecycle.
