Corinne van Egeraat is a Dutch documentary filmmaker and producer, specialising in creative documentary films for the cinema. Her company ZINDOC is based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. She works together with her husband, Czech/Canadian filmmaker Petr Lom. Their award-winning films have premiered at international A-film festivals like the Berlinale, IDFA, Sundance and Venice, screened at over 450 festivals around the world and have been broadcast in 20+ countries. She regularly produces impact and outreach activities. For her 2017 production Burma Storybook, she organized free cinema screenings throughout Myanmar reaching an audience of 50 000 people. Since the 2021 military coup in Myanmar, she produced three films about the country: a short, SAD FILM that premiered in Venice; the hybrid feature documentary Myanmar Diaries, with the ten member anonymous Myanmar Film Collective that won the prestigious 2022 Berlinale Documentary Award, and Letter to San Zaw Htway, a short documentary that has just been published as an Op-Doc by the New York Times. She is a member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences (AMPAS).
