Lea Hartlaub got her first analogue camera at the age of 14. This is how her love for photography started. A little later, a love for filmmaking and the use of both media to create art installations followed. Oscillating between the form of an essay and conceptual art, in her latest film “SR'”, Lea Hartlaub presents a panorama of human activity in which Sr – the mythical and symbolic giraffe – is a recurring motif. The director will tell us about her role in the making of the film, her inspirations, her choices and their significance.
