Debate: Towards Equality And Health Security. Why Is Abortion a Human Right?

The film introduces us to Justyna, Kinga, Natalia and Karolina – friends and activists who make up the Abortion Dream Team. The girls answer the helpline and pride themselves on TikTok that they facilitate 100 abortions a day with the shocking slogan "Abortion is OK!". They have everyone against them - public opinion, doctors, politicians.
How do we ensure that women in Poland have full rights? Why is only a comprehensive approach to such topics as access to contraception, abortion and reliable sexual education going to protect against abuse and provide equal opportunities and health security? How can we guarantee that the rights to decide about one's own life, health and future apply equally to everyone in Poland? These questions will be addressed by the protagonists of the film "Abortion Dream Team" – activists Natalia Broniarczyk and Justyna Wydrzyńska, as well as Mikołaj Czerwiński from Amnesty International.
After the debate, we invite you to an hour-long women’s dialogue circle drawn from Native American culture. In the atmosphere of an intimate meeting, we will seek answers to questions related to abortion. In a spirit of mutual acceptance and respect for differences of opinion, we will listen to stories about life choices, sometimes difficult experiences and the associated emotions. We will ensure an equal opportunity to speak about experiences and try to hear each other.

Mikołaj Czerwiński - Campaign team leader at Amnesty International, focusing on LGBTI rights, women's rights and countering violence and discrimination. Board member of the Queerowy Maj Association and the Equality.org.pl Foundation, feminist and LGBTI activist for the last 15 years, anti-discrimination and rights educator and global educator.
Natalia Broniarczyk - feminist, activist and academic. She is fascinated by the topic of abortion self-care - she reads, writes, researches and tries to counteract stigma every day. A few years ago, she terminated a pregnancy herself, which was an important event in her life.
Justyna Wydrzyńska - activist, abortion doula, feminist (finally not ashamed of it), mother of growing teenagers and abortionist. She co-founded Women on the Web, an organisation that supports people in having an abortion. She had an abortion herself, which proved to be the tipping point for many good changes in her life.
