Amnesty International Poland Competition juror
Marek Kozakiewicz (born 1986), director and cinematographer. He graduated from the cinematography department of the National Film School in Łódź. He is a member of the Polish and European Film Academy. Particularly dedicated to working on documentary films. His directorial debut "Silent Love" was officially selected for Visions du Reel, Hot Docs, IDFA, Dok Leipzig and received, among others, the MDR award for the Best Film from Eastern Europe, the award for the Best Polish Film and the Best International Debut at MDAG 2022. His second film 'We Are Perfect', produced for Netflix Poland, premiered this year at TIDF festival. He directed a series of social spots 'We, the Parents' for BBDO Poland, for which he was awarded the Golden Sword for the best direction of the prestigious Advertising Creators Club KTR. Since 2012, he has been working as a lighting and video designer for the largest theater and opera productions in Poland.
