There are 160 competitors in the preliminaries, and only 12 make it to the final. The Chopin Competition is the world's oldest event of this kind. It is held every five years in Warsaw and has attracted the greatest pianists. It is a great thrill and a big opportunity that only happens once in a lifetime. The film protagonists are young participants of the competition from different parts of the world whose lives have been subordinated to playing the piano since childhood. They all share a similar dream and will be mercilessly tested by the competition machine.
